During the pre construction phase, cost estimating and control, including value analysis and life cycle costing, are provided and are closely integrated with the Architect for a cohesive team effort. Cost estimating ensures an accurate prediction of cost and owner’s requirements, from the initial budget concepts through construction documents. Value analysis permits the Designer, Owner and Belmont to examine cost implications of design alternatives before any work has been accomplished. This results in saving design time to the Owner’s benefit, avoiding redesign costs and producing a superior product. In addition, we may either conduct or participate in periodic design reviews for ultimate construction performance.
